At our core, we are inspired by individuals who embody purpose-driven movement. These are the people who introduce friends to Pilates, challenge themselves with heavier weights, push for an extra lap, and commit to rest as a testament to their care for their bodies.

  • Core strength increases your ability to generate power to your muscles. This is achieved by initiating each movement from your core and not momentum.

  • Pilates is a vigorous full-body workout that strengthens and stretches simultaneously with a deep emphasis on the core. As you execute each exercise, you’ll work to find extra length in your body.

  • One of the six Pilates principles, represents the concept that “your mind directs and manages each separate muscular movement.” Each exercise is a conscious, deliberate movement that the mind is controlling.

  • We are a privates-based pilates studio. This allows for the private lesson to be programmed with the clients goals and needs in mind. Sign up for the monthly mat to get notified of group mat pilates events! Learn more about our services here.

  • While I was trained in a contemporary style, I have taken from classical pilates instructors and lean on classical exercises in sessions. I aim to align the body by stimulating the muscles with resistance or changing the position of the body.

  • Pilates, initially known as 'Contrology,' fosters a mind-body connection. Its focus on core engagement and posture awareness translates effortlessly to sports training, refining movement precision and control.

  • A Pilates session is 50 minutes and is composed of a combination of equipment at a level appropriate for each client. Wear comfortable, fitted athletic clothing. No shoes are required.

    Each exercise is low impact and complements any workout program, and is safe for all fitness levels.
